We love a weekend (and a long weekend in particular - many happy returns, Your Majesty). We've double cause for celebration this weekend, as on Friday we received our stamped (approved) design application from Kiama Council for the refurbishment of the house and grounds! Our builder, Jamberoo local Alan Jurd, is set to commence knock-down of the existing kitchen and laundry at the end of the week. The coming few months are going to be fairly busy (and no doubt dusty).
The plans shown here are of the existing ground floor of Terragong, as well as the new layout with three guest rooms (each with ensuite bathroom) and the new communal kitchen, dining and living space complete with wood-burning fire. Also shown is a portion of the planned landscape design created for us by Myles Baldwin, showing the new parking quadrant and courtyard, swimming pool and terrace as well as the walled kitchen garden.
