Out and about, in and around Jamberoo & Kiama

We understand that once you've arrived and settled into Terragong you might not want to leave, but when you're ready to step out and explore, there's plenty to see and do!

Keen golfers will be delighted to know that there are over seven 18-hole courses all within a 45 minutes drive of Terragong.  If surfing is more your style, the south coast offers some amazing beaches to choose from.  Prefer wine tasting?  Hit the Shoalhaven wine trail for a day of sight-seeing and sampling.  Something is always happening on the South Coast, from the Kiama Rugby Sevens, the largest one day Sevens’ competition in the world (held annually on the last Saturday in February) to small events such as the Gerringong 'Picks and Flicks' screening (the first Friday of each month at the Gerringong Town Hall).

Plus there are the traditional country town festivities that you just can’t miss: the Kiama Agricultural Show held at the end of January, the Kiama Regional Wine Show in September, the Annual Jamberoo Rose Festival in spring and the Kiama Jazz and Blues Festival in early March.  Scattered throughout the rest of the year are Antique Fairs, Car Rallies and Art Shows.

With lots of local knowledge, we will be only too happy to 'point you in the right direction' and suggest activities and day-tripping itineraries that match your pace and length of stay.
