Sydney couple Anna and Thomas tied the knot and celebrated with family and friends in the first of Terragong's springtime weddings for 2019 with a whole-of-house weekend stay. Guests were delivered by coach to the front lawn, where they were greeted by the music of a string quartet and sipped cocktails, before making their way to the ceremony site on the western lawn, under the shade of one of our massive Morton Bay Figs. Chairs and arbour adorned with flowers, it was a magical location for celebrant Kristie to conduct the ceremony, before guests were invited to join a champagne toast to the newlyweds.
The reception took place on the swimming pool lawn and terrace, where guests were entertained by musical duo Jess & Matt (of X Factor fame), and feasted on a seafood grazing table and 8-hour charcoal spit roasted lamb with all the trimmings. And coordinating it all, wedding event manager extraordinaire Rhianna Smith and her team from Rhianna Smith Events ensured that everything went off without a hitch (except of course for the ceremony, where getting hitched was the objective!).
