This week has seen huge progress on the build of the new kitchen and dining extension, with the framework delivered to site last Friday afternoon; first thing Monday morning, walls started going up! It’s taken less than three days to erect the framework, both external and interior walls. On Tuesday evening we were able to walk around within and get a feel for the scale of the space and of course check out the magnificent views from what will eventually be windows and French doors.
Early next week the open truss beams of native hardwood, which we’ve had handcrafted in the Southern Highlands, will be delivered and craned into place – more on that in next week’s reno recap.
