With the old chicken coop cleaned out and essential repairs made to the roof and walls and new roosting boxes installed, it was off to the Jamberoo General Store to place an order for some poultry! Following our neighbour's advice to ask for "good layers", we returned home a few weeks later with five lovely ISA Browns. They settled into their new home very quickly
At a couple of months of age, we have a wait of 8 to 12 weeks until they matured to the point of laying - we're looking forward to enjoying the many promised eggs!
