After seven years as the Illawarra’s top-rated boutique hosted accommodation, we’ve decided that the time is
ripe for new ventures and will close Terragong to accommodation and wedding & event bookings in early March , 2023.
​
Our online booking diary is up-to-date with all remaining available dates, so if you have been wanting to stay,
wanting to return for another stay, or are keen to secure a February date for a wedding or private celebration on-farm, get in quick – the calendar for the rest of this year is nearly booked-out with weddings and house parties that we’re excited to be hosting.

and email us ASAP to redeem/book your stay.

We would like to thank all of the wonderful guests we have had the pleasure to host over these past seven years (many of whom have returned year-on-year and become great friends) as well as the many locals who
have recommended us to family and friends; we also send out a huge thanks to the many local businesses and suppliers who have made our guests’ experience of Terragong and the Illawarra extra-special – the many quality restaurants, galleries, wineries, tourist attractions and wedding suppliers (caterers, coordinators, hire companies, etc) – we couldn’t have achieved what we have without your vital and valued support.

A two-night minimum stay applies to bookings.
​
All rates include a two-course breakfast served in our farmhouse kitchen between 7.00am and 10.00am, as well as an hour of complimentary afternoon wine and nibbles, served each afternoon around 5.00pm.
Each of our three guest rooms is queen bedded, with a maximum occupancy of two guests per room. All guest rooms are located on the ground floor in the guest wing.

CHECK-IN between 2.00pm (1400 hours) and 8.00pm (2000 hours)
DEPARTURE by 11.00am (1100 hours)

Mid-Week Stays
​
Please note that we are usually closed to guests midweek and these nights are not available to book online. Should your travel plans require accommodation on these nights, please email us with your details, including the requested dates, number of guests in your party and the number of rooms required – for a minimum of two rooms (4 guests) and with sufficient advance notice, we’ll try our best to accommodate you!
Group Bookings

Terragong is ideal for house parties, accommodating up to six adults (three couples). Please email us with your enquiry or for more information and availability. We are happy to schedule breakfast and drinks service times to suit your group and can organise dinners in the formal dining room, prepared by your host Simon or in-house by local caterers.
HOUSE POLICIES
Cancellations
We are a small property and cancellations have a large impact. To confirm your reservation, payment of the total cost of your stay is required at time of booking.

Refunds are made according to the cancellation condition:

if the booking is cancelled with more than 30 days notice, all funds paid will be refunded in full (less credit card processing fees, if applicable);

if the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to 100% of the stay will be made (nil refund);
-
in the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.
We do have to enforce our cancellation policy and we strongly advise that you have travel insurance to cover any unforeseen changes to your travel plans.
Children
Due to the historic nature of the property, Terragong is not suitable for children under the age of 16 years.
Pets
Companion/guide animals receive the warmest of welcomes at any time. However, as we share Terragong with our rescue puppy Daisy, cat Artemis, a flock of free-ranging chickens as well as agist our neighbour's dairy herd in our main paddock, we regret that we are unable to host guests' pets.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any room of the house, but is permitted in the parking courtyard and pool terrace, where an ashtray is provided.
