Farewell & Thank You!
After seven years as the Illawarra’s top-rated boutique hosted accommodation, we’ve decided that the time is ripe for new ventures - we have now closed Terragong to accommodation and wedding & event bookings.

We would like to thank all of the wonderful guests we have had the pleasure to host over these past seven years (many of whom have returned year-on-year and become great friends) as well as the many locals who have recommended us to family and friends; we also send out a huge thanks to the many local businesses and suppliers who have made our guests’ experience of Terragong and the Illawarra extra-special – the many quality restaurants, galleries, wineries, tourist attractions and wedding suppliers (caterers, coordinators, hire companies, etc) – we couldn’t have achieved what we have without your vital and valued support.

The Parlour Room

The Parlour Room is light and airy, ​with walls of original match-lining (weatherboards) and a distinctly spacious feel.
The room has been finished with a quirky mix of antique and vintage furniture and artwork, including a Chinese scholar's desk, a Louis XV provincial commode (chest of drawers), framed Kuba-cloth panels and an Australia Pictorial Exploration Map dating from the 1950s.
Windows facing east overlook the main paddock and neighbouring farmland.
The Pomegranate Room

The most striking feature of the Pomegranate Room is its 'fruit' pattern wallpaper - a William Morris design called Pomegranate, dating from 1864.
Or perhaps the most striking feature is the Colonial-style cast iron bed from Ralph Lauren? We'll let you decide.
With views of the Southern Highlands escarpment to the west.

The Raj Room

The Raj Room takes its name from the rather impressive four-poster bed of solid teak, made in Rajasthan and dating from approximately 1840.
The walls of the Raj Room are finished in a Morris & Co wallpaper pattern called 'Bachelors Button', designed by William Morris in 1892 - a depiction of cornflowers (known in folklore as Bachelors Buttons, as they were worn by young men in love).
The Raj Room is on the western side of the house, and affords views of the neighbouring Jerrara Creek Farm paddocks.​
